Job description

Customer Service Representative (Hybrid Call Center Role)Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid – must live within 1 hour)Schedule: Full-time | Multiple shifts available
Overview

We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to join a dynamic and customer-focused support team. In this role, you will handle inbound calls and emails, assist users with account access and navigation, resolve issues efficiently, and deliver a high-quality customer experience.

This is a hybrid position requiring both in-office and remote work, with mandatory onsite training and regular in-office attendance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and strive for first-call resolution
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and escalated inquiries
  • Gather and document participant information accurately
  • Assist users with registration, login issues, and account access
  • Guide participants through website navigation and available applications
  • Answer general questions related to services and programs
  • Support escalated/non-routine issues in coordination with internal teams
  • Assist participants in completing surveys over the phone
  • Educate customers to help prevent future issues

Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in a call center environment
  • Strong customer service and issue resolution skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail and active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
  • Comfortable using MS Word, Excel, and general computer applications
  • Professional and pleasant phone presence
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
  • Must reside within 1 hour of the office (hybrid requirement)

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in a technical call center environment (or transferable experience)
  • Bilingual Spanish/English (highly preferred)

Work Environment & Schedule
  • Hybrid Role: Work onsite twice per week after training
  • Initial training and onboarding are fully in-office
  • Office remains available for those who prefer onsite work

Available Shifts (Permanent):

  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Training Details
  • Time: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (ET)
  • Fully onsite training (approximately 2–4 weeks, depending on readiness)
  • Equipment provided upon successful completion of training

Work-From-Home Requirements
  • Ability to hardwire internet connection (WiFi not permitted)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
