Duties
  • Manage the full lifecycle of restoration projects, including mitigation, demolition, and reconstruction from initial inspection through final completion.
  • Conduct on-site assessments for water, fire, mold, and storm damage; develop detailed scopes of work for both mitigation and reconstruction phases.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and budgets using industry tools such as Xactimate for mitigation and rebuild services.
  • Coordinate and supervise mitigation crews, construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
  • Oversee reconstruction activities including framing, drywall, flooring, painting, and finish work to ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with property owners, insurance adjusters, and third-party administrators to ensure alignment throughout all project phases.

  • Perform and review moisture documentation, drying logs, and mitigation reports to ensure proper completion before reconstruction begins.
  • Coordinate permitting, inspections, and approvals required for reconstruction work.
  • Conduct final walkthroughs with clients to ensure satisfaction and successful project closeout.
  • Resolve project challenges through proactive problem-solving and effective team leadership in fast-paced environments.
Skills

  • Strong knowledge of water, fire, mold remediation, and residential/commercial construction practices.
  • Proficiency in estimating and documentation tools such as Xactimate or similar platforms.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing field technicians, trades, and subcontractors.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of building materials, construction methods, and drying techniques.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, especially with insurance scopes and supplements.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and restoration scopes.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
