What You Will Do:
We are searching for Project Managers of all skill levels to support future needs at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The individual will provide project management support services ensuring the multiple initiatives are effectively managed, delivered on time and within budget. This will be a full-time, on-site opportunity in Bethesda, MD.

  • Plan, manage, and track assigned projects from initiation through closeout in a government environment.

  • Coordinate project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely execution.

  • Facilitate regular meetings, prepare agendas, capture action items, and follow up on outstanding tasks.

  • Monitor project performance and provide regular status reports, dashboards, and briefings to government staff.

  • Identify project risks and issues; recommend and track mitigation strategies.

  • Support compliance with federal policies, contractual requirements, and organizational procedures.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams which may include scientists, investigators, various levels of leadership and other stakeholders within the same or across different Institutes and Centers (ICs).

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and artifacts in approved government systems.

  • Support preparation of briefings, reports, summaries, and presentations for leadership review.


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least TWO (2) years of project management related experience.

  • Demonstrated experience to successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their public trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Managing projects in a regulated industry or with a government entity strongly desired.

  • Possessing a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) is beneficial.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Familiar with various types of project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, etc.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
