Salary: 1st Year EIT (E1-E2) 60-70k; 2nd Year EIT (E2) 65-75k; 3rd Year EIT (E2) 75-85k; 4th Year EIT (E2-E3) 80-90k; Junior P.Eng. (E3) $85-$100k

Onsite Engineering is a mid-sized consulting engineering and geoscience company with multiple

Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, the successful Engineer in Training or Junior P.Eng. will be
primarily involved in civil engineering aspects of natural resources projects. This includes various
engineering services from proposal stage through to survey, assessment, design and construction
of projects. The successful applicant will have the opportunity for professional development
working with a motivated and dynamic team of experienced professionals. Fieldwork is an integral
part of this position, and applicants must be prepared for fi eld work including hiking in to remote
sites in all conditions and the potential for extended duration fi eld shifts and/or camp-based shifts.


Location:
Position open to all primary onsite off ices including Courtenay, Campbell River, North Vancouver,
Abbotsford, Salmon Arm and Prince George
Major Job Functions:
Assisting civil engineers and geotechnical engineers in all aspects of their projects
including:
o Site investigations
o Bridge Inspections
o Site surveying (total station and RTK GPS)
o Report preparation
o Road and crossing design
o Coordinating project drawings and reports
o Assisting with fi eld reviews during construction
o Assisting with project management and/or contract administration
Specific Skills and Knowledge:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships
across all levels of the business.
Strong technical analysis and technical writing capabilities
Physically fi t and comfortable with outdoor work and occasional travel
Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work on numerous projects
Willingness to learn and work with limited supervision
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Civil, Geological or Forest Engineering
Eligible for registration with EGBC as an EIT or P.Eng.
Salary Range:
1st Year EIT (E1-E2) 60-70k
2nd Year EIT (E2) 65-75k
3rd Year EIT (E2) 75-85k
4th Year EIT (E2-E3) 80-90k
Junior P.Eng. (E3) $85-$100k
