Job DescriptionOverview

AtkinsRealis is currently seeking a Senior process Engineer for its Vancouver office.

Your role
  • Contribute to the development and growth of AtkinsRealis market share in waste and wastewater treatment.
  • Represent AtkinsRealis to existing and prospective clients
  • Determine the specific needs for the client's projects, establish the scope of work, and identify the steps and timelines for execution.
  • Provide engineering services related to waste and wastewater treatment
  • Perform design and calculations related to project requirements.
  • Participate in the development of technical specifications.
  • Validate compliance with current standards and verify the conformity of specifications and other documents produced by suppliers.
  • Estimate the cost of the work.
  • Coordinate between various stakeholders (other disciplines, clients, suppliers, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain a climate conducive to the application of ethical and professional practices in the execution of engineering work.
  • Perform any other related tasks deemed relevant to the position.
About you
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in process Engineering.
  • Be a member in good standing of the Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC)
  • Between 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in liquid processes such as waste and wastewater. Experience in consulting engineering would be considered an asset.
  • Business Acumen
  • Understanding and knowledge of systems and process related liquid processes, including waste & wastewater management
  • Demonstrated high level of autonomy and ability to act as a subject matter expert.
  • Possess solid knowledge of equipment such as pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchangers. Compressors, filtration systems and more
  • Strong capability in preparing and reviewing deliverables such as PDF, P&ID, mass and heat balance, data sheets, technical specifications
  • Recognized for strong leadership skills, ability to maintain excellent interpersonal relationships while ensuring high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience in managing service proposal processes and business development.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and support the technical development of junior professionals.
  • Seller / Doer mindset.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range 1114800,00- 157850,00CAD annually. (Only Applicable to British Columbia and Ontario). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role.
