HOURS:
  • 7:00 am - 6:00 pm

We perform a hair follicle pre-employment drug screen test, lift test up to 65 lbs. and background check.
Scot Forge is an employee-owned company that manufactures custom open die and rolled ring forgings used in demanding applications all over the world. At Scot Forge, we help our customers with forged solutions from the world's physical infrastructure, energy, and transportation to manufacturing, mining, and our national defense.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems - wiring, motors, transformers, panelboards, switchgear and control panels.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Layout conduit paths, bend and install conduit, select properly sized conductors, pull wires, install hardware, etc.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), Motor Control Centers (MCC), and soft starts.
  • Test electrical systems using multimeters, power analyzers, and thermal imaging devices.
  • Hydraulic bender and industrial conduit bending - strongly preferred.
  • Comply with local, state and federal electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Actively promote a safe and healthy work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4+ years of electrical experience or Electrician's license
  • Experience with wiring, conduit, codes, schematics, blueprints, PLC, etc.
  • Experience with plant wide AC voltage including 120, 208, 480 and 4,160,
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at elevations up to 60 feet
