UNC Health Family Medicine at Wendell Falls is hiring a Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (PA)!

The care team at UNC Health Family Medicine at Wendell Falls provides comprehensive care for patients 18 and older, from yearly checkups and preventative care to support for long-term physical and mental health conditions.

The team is there to support patients and the community wherever they are on their health and wellness journey.

Services:

  • Nutritional counseling

  • Screenings

  • Annual wellness exams

  • Immunizations

  • Women's health

  • Management of chronic health conditions, including high blood pressure, diabetes, and asthma

  • Treatment for common mental health conditions including anxiety and depression

  • Video visits for established patients

Practice Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Requirements:

  • Family Medicine APP

  • Licensed in North Carolina

  • 2-plus years of experience

  • Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (PA) program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of North Carolina.

  • Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

  • Demonstrated clinical competency.

  • Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.

  • Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.

  • Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
