Job Description
You'll lead sales for Mass, Club and Value Discount Accounts to increase market share and household penetration for Wise branded and affiliated products.
  • Play a key leadership role in the development of the annual business plan for Mass, Club and Value Discount accounts by providing strategic sales guidance, feedback and closely monitor and report on the progress and delivery of the stated objectives.
  • Analyze, evaluate and improve the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results.
  • Utilization of internal and external sales reporting tools to research branded sales performance and to develop strategies and plans that improve brand awareness, product availability and cohesive go to market initiatives.
  • In a highly collaborative manner, work closely with marketing to develop profitable long range business strategies and annual business plans for the region.

You'll oversee National and Direct Sales accounts to achieve market share goals and regional sales budgets.
  • Identify and execute "Best in Class" merchandising standards to maximize the sales potential through increased revenue and gross profit for Wise Food Inc.
  • Develop market specific programs to increase shelf space in the mainstream salty snack aisles.
  • Reduce and limit out of stock conditions at retail through increased display activity at retail headquarter and store level to support promotional price/package plans with national customers.
  • Ensure barriers are removed to allow the field teams to aggressively grow revenues, profit and share by proactively identifying strategic, long term growth and profit opportunities for the region.

You'll manage sales and marketing budgets and programs that achieve the goals of Wise Food, Inc., our customers.
  • Strategically direct the annual sales budget and ensure adherence to quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Execute, implement, and share short and long range sales goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures with the National Accounts team.
  • Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance sales operations and market execution.
  • Collaborate with cross functional department managers and corporate staff to develop five year and ten year business plans.
  • Implement and execute market specific sales and marketing plans within the assigned territory.

You'll directly manage product and promotional execution of National Accounts.
  • Participate in the development of new product proposals and preparation of the business case.
  • Develop and execute successful channel and partner programs which enhance shareholder value.

You'll determine growth potential and develop business plan to increase sales according to the market circumstances.
  • Find accounts that are willing to carry our products and negotiate new sales contracts with them.
  • Develop the convenience store channel to establish Wise as a presence to increase sales.
  • Negotiate strategic initiatives with customers to gain better floor space and sales conditions such as price and promotions.
  • Build business cases for entry into new markets that will lead to sales growth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field.
  • At least 10 years of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience
  • At least 5 year of sales and negotiation experience as a top sales leader.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a team
  • Prior Walmart and/or Club channel management experience.
  • Experience developing profitable long range business plans.
  • Proficiency with syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen) and Category Management.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint/Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Strong business acumen, out of the box thinker, self-starter and active listening skills.
  • Willing to travel 50% of the time.
