The Market Equipment Field Associate Leader provides operational and functional leadership to the Market Equipment Management (MEM) and Sales teams by ensuring the effective execution of equipment operations, technical service, logistics coordination, and safety compliance.

This role leads PES M&S Operations for Buffalo and Jamestown, overseeing a combined team of 16 Equipment Employees (EE), with Buffalo serving as the primary location and bi-weekly travel to the Jamestown site. The Associate Leader ensures execution of equipment service standards, workforce planning, DOT compliance, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence while supporting company performance goals.


Responsibilities
Operations & Team Leadership
  • Lead daily PES M&S operations across Buffalo and Jamestown, overseeing a team of 16 frontline employees to ensure operational excellence and service execution.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and technical leadership to Equipment Employees (EE) to improve capability, performance, and service standards.
  • Serve as escalation support for field technicians, including after-hours and weekend availability to resolve critical service issues when needed.
  • Facilitate training and capability-building initiatives, including participation in MES/Lighthouse training programs.
Safety & Compliance
  • Maintain a safety-first culture with strict adherence to DOT regulations, fleet safety standards, Geotab monitoring, and environmental procedures.
  • Ensure all safety training, compliance expectations, and regulatory standards are consistently executed.
  • Drive a zero-tolerance approach to safety incidents and reinforce accountability across the team.
Field Service & Equipment Execution
  • Ensure Certified Quality A-Repairs are completed across all equipment types to manage equipment capital investments.
  • Oversee FTN and VV install scheduling and execution, ensuring timely and accurate completion to customer expectations.
  • Provide technical and operational support to resolve mechanical, equipment, and service execution issues.
  • Coordinate logistics activities related to MEM equipment, including Drop & Hook, inbound new/certified equipment, reserve accounts, and junk equipment management.
Workforce Planning & Systems Management
  • Review and approve frontline employee timecards through WFM systems.
  • Manage the daily service grid in Click, ensuring workforce optimization, scheduling accuracy, and customer service execution.
  • Utilize operational reporting, national scorecards, and system data to identify performance gaps and drive problem-solving initiatives.
Financial & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Manage assigned location P&L performance, including labor, overtime, operating costs, and equipment spend to meet business objectives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and PES Operations leadership to support execution, installation readiness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, process discipline, and KPI performance.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent years of relevant experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Technical Service, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field service, equipment operations, logistics, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or beverage operations, preferably within the beverage industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct people leadership experience managing frontline employees, including coaching, scheduling, performance management, and workforce execution in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience working in DOT-regulated, fleet safety, transportation, or compliance-driven operational environments.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using workforce planning, scheduling, or service management systems (e.g., Click, WFM, Geotab, SAP, or similar systems), with strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience analyzing KPI or operational performance data.
  • 1–2 years of experience managing labor, overtime, operating costs, budgets, or P&L performance within an operational environment.
  • 1–2 years of experience in equipment service, mechanical troubleshooting, Certified Center/Hub operations, or equivalent warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, or Customer Service teams and supporting process improvements, productivity initiatives, or operational performance goals.
