Overview The Linehaul Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising the efficient and timely transportation of AIT customer freight between AIT Middle Mile Network Hub locations as well as identified injection points within the AIT Worldwide Logistics network, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves direct supervision of Linehaul Operations Agents, route optimization and maintaining high service levels.

The Linehaul Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring seamless operations within the AIT Middle Mile Network and contributes to the overall customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of linehaul carriers and support staff to drive efficiency and execution, and report on service failures caused by the assigned asset-based carrier. This includes monitoring and tracking operations, providing real time updates to both operations and clients, and addressing issue promptly. * Collaborate with other departments to resolve logistical issues and improve service delivery within AIT Middle Mile Network field operations and management to ensure that any additional linehaul needs, outside of the normal scheduled operations are met. Develop and implement contingency plans such as vehicle breakdowns, accidents or adverse weather conditions to ensure minimal disruption to operations. * Plan, optimize, and monitor linehaul routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of freight within the AIT Middle Mile Network.

Track and report KOIs to measure efficiency and effectiveness of linehaul operations. * Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development for team members. Identify training needs and execute training of team members to ensure operational excellence and personnel development. maintains approval of Linehaul Operations Agents presentation of adhoc bookings - as needed * Analyze reports on linehaul operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Track and report KOIs to measure efficiency and effectiveness of linehaul operations. Stay updated on the latest transportation technologies and best practices. Recommend new technologies or processes to improve operational efficiency * Manage relationships with third-party carriers and vendors to ensure smooth operation and resolve any operational challenges utilizing experience and commonly used problem-solving methods.

Negotiate rates a transactional basis with asset-based providers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service. Ensure carriers are compliant with the AIT Middle Mile Network standards for on time performance * Performs other duties as assigned * Complies with all policies and standards * The wage range for this position is $58,260.00-$87,380.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience Qualifications Education• High School Diploma (Required) • Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent work experience (Required) Experience• 3+ years Proven experience in logistics or transportation management, with a focus on linehaul operations (Required) and• 3+ years Progressive leaderships position within the logistics or transportation industry (Required) and• 5+ years Operations Management and Team Management within the logistics or transportation management industry, with a focus on linehaul operations (Preferred) or• 3+ years Proven experience with rate negotiations with 3rd party asset-based providers. (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Carrier Management including development of accountabilities High• Understanding of service requirements in a HUB Operations / LTL Environment High• Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

High• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal High• Strong leadership and team management skills.
