Join our Fairport team as a Logistics Associate where you’ll support production through administrative work, logistics coordination, and facility sanitation while helping train and support others.

Role Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting in the completion of production administrative work, building sanitation, and logistic tasks. Applies training and skills to perform various tasks that support production. Trains others in operations, techniques, and skills.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Performs operations in compliance with work instructions.
  • Completes production logistics by moving and transacting information through production systems.
  • Performs building sanitation tasks and maintains a clean work environment.
  • Prepares material for operations and/or logistical tasks.
  • Interfaces with plant systems (e.g. document control, manufacturing execution system).
  • Communicates effectively and updates/maintains records as needed.
  • Trains others in responsibilities.
  • Perform van runs to support operational needs.
  • Performs any other Production Support I responsibilities.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems such as SAP or EWM is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and escalate as needed.
  • Effective prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with production teams, supervisors, planners, and warehouse staff.
  • Physical ability to walk, lift (up to 25 lbs), and stand for extended periods.

The range for this position is ​$21.00 per hour. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
