Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for 85 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation. Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a part time 1st shift Poult Line Processor in Oakwood.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 5:50am-approximately 10:00am (20-26 hours a week).
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.80 with the potential of increasing to $18.05 after 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
  • Beak conditioning, toe conditioning and dewclaws per orders and as instructed.
  • Maintaining correct flock separation and numbers
  • Reporting poor quality poults to QC and Manager.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
