Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Springfield, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $18.93 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific instructions.
  • Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel and support a professional work environment through clear communication and attention to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
