Position Title: Social Media & Communications Student Worker
Department: Director of Student Experience / Admissions
Position Type: Part-Time Student Worker (10 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: $16.60
Overview:
We are seeking a creative, reliable, and outgoing student to join our team as a Social Media & Communications Student Worker. This role combines digital storytelling with in-person engagement to share the authentic student experience, support campus events, and help prospective students feel connected to our vibrant college community.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Digital Content
  • Create engaging content (photos, videos, stories, reels, blogs) for official college social channels.
  • Highlight student life, academics, campus events, and community engagement.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling posts using a content calendar.
  • Monitor social channels for trends, mentions, and engagement opportunities.
  • Support live coverage for campus events, tours, or special programs.
  • Stay informed on current social media trends and suggest innovative ways to enhance the college's online presence.

Communications Support
  • Help create email campaigns, Teams announcements, social media posts, and flyers to increase awareness of student services, activities, and opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Current full-time student in good academic standing.
  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable on camera and confident speaking to groups.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn (experience preferred).
  • Skills in photography, video editing, or graphic design are a plus.
