Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

ProCare Therapy is partnering with a collaborative school district in Wilmington to fill a part-time Speech Language Pathologist position for the 26/27 school year. Candidates should have a DE SLP license or able to obtain it prior to starting. Prior schools experience is preferred.


This role offers a balance of independence and teamwork, allowing you to apply your clinical expertise while collaborating with educators and families. The position will begin around August 10th and will end June 15th and will cover a high school caseload. The school is looking for someone who can work between 1-3 days (students can enroll/unenroll until September 30th, so exact caseload numbers will change)

If chosen for this position you will:

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement therapy plans
  • Review 60 day IEPs, analyze if any students need dismissals
  • Work with students across 8th-12th grades
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation
  • Support teachers with classroom strategies and collaborate with other related services providers
