The Opportunity:
Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City - Medical Education Internal Medicine Clinic is seeking an experienced RN to join our team.
The Schedule:
  • This is a part time position.
  • This position will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. The hours are 0800-1630 with an assigned late night weekly.
  • No Weekends, No Call
The Work:
  • This position is for an Internal Medicine teaching clinic.
  • RN must have the ability to work with multiple providers and must have excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • The RN is accountable for utilizing the nursing process throughout the provision of patient/family care.
  • Is responsible for delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff, coordinating the care of patients and consulting other disciplines of the health care team as indicated.
  • The RN functions collaboratively with the medical staff and other disciplines to provide and enhance patient care.
  • The RN adheres to all nursing policies and standards and proactively strives to maintain and improve quality outcomes.
  • Responsible for facilitating patient care, anticipating patient care needs, individualizing patient care and adjusting or modifying the nursing plan of care as appropriate.
  • The RN will possess and utilize effective technical skills for the provision of safe and appropriate care (i.e. pharmacological knowledge, assessment skills, etc.)
  • 2 years nursing experience inpatient or outpatient strongly preferred.
