Position: Customer Service Specialist
Job Type: Part-Time / Non-Exempt
Shift Details: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Every (Weekend Position) Saturday and Sunday
Work Location: Crisis - Newark RRC
Salary/Hourly Wage: $15.00/hour
Summary of Job: The Customer Service Specialist position acts as the receptionist for the Program. The Customer Service Specialist is also responsible for providing routine clerical and administrative support with projects as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Guest Care amp; Advocacy:
    • Answers telephones and acts as receptionist for program, triages phones calls and gathers pertinent information from callers to accurately log the data elements of each and every call.
    • Performs functions necessary for the initial registration and inputs individual’s data into computer.
  2. Compliance amp; Risk Management:
    • Assists in the process of gathering data necessary to perform billing and audit functions as requested.
    • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies and procedures as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
    • Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  3. Cross Functional Collaboration:
    • Oversees the use, maintenance, and repair of office equipment.
    • Maintains petty cash.
  4. Additional Duties:
    • Performs routine typing and other clerical tasks including organizing, filing, copying and faxing.
    • Maintains an organized office filing system that assures confidentiality of all documents.
    • Ensures the facility reception areas are neat and orderly at all times.
    • Assists in the ordering and stocking of office supplies as needed.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    • Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
    • Travel required based on business need.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
