Job description

Our client is seeking a Project Estimator to collaborate with the Estimating Team in preparing technical bids and pricing for both new and ongoing projects within the electrical sector.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop pricing estimates for current and upcoming projects
• Calculate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and tools
• Source and evaluate pricing for production materials
• Compile detailed cost data for bid preparation
• Prepare and submit formal bid documents
• Communicate directly with clients regarding pricing and quotes
• Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Identify project requirements and resolve technical issues
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards


Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• College degree or relevant professional experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards
• Experience working with client portals and online systems
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and basic computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF handling


Physical Requirements

• Primarily seated work with computer usage
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
