JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Pegula Ice Arena is seeking part-time figure skating instructors. Qualified candidates will report to the Figure Skating Director. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in all areas of figure skating programs and other events at Pegula Ice Arena, including but not limited to:
  • Instructing youth and adult skating programs, teaching various in-house clinics and programs both on and off the ice
  • Providing private lesson instruction
  • Assisting with the annual in-house ice show and in-house skating competitions and skating camps
  • Assisting in setup and break down for programs or other events
  • Other duties as assigned

The candidate should have knowledge of figure skating equipment and the ability to size and fit properly and will be required to administer excellent customer service to all skaters and guests. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or less with or without accommodation. Must complete coach/instructor compliances/training in accordance with USFS mandates and be Learn to Skate USA certified. Maximum number hours: 24 per week combined lessons and instruction.
