The Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage supports the daily operation of front‑of‑the‑house Food & Beverage outlets within a fast‑paced casino environment. This role assists with team leadership, guest service excellence, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance while supporting departmental goals and profitability. This is a full time position (40+ hrs weekly).

Essential Functions

Essential duties may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation in accordance with applicable laws.

  • Support daily front‑of‑the‑house operations to ensure service quality, efficiency, and profitability
  • Promote a guest‑focused environment that encourages repeat visitation
  • Hire, train, schedule, coach, and supervise team members
  • Assist with labor management, scheduling, inventory, and budgeting
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and operational performance; implement improvements as needed
  • Partner with leadership on food cost controls, forecasting, and promotions
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and gaming regulations
  • Resolve and document guest concerns and service recovery actions
  • Support special events and assist across all Food & Beverage outlets as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

Education and experience may be substituted on a year‑for‑year basis:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with six (6) years of restaurant experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory role; or
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with three (3) years of restaurant experience, including one (1) year in a supervisory role
Additional Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses and certifications
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screening
  • Experience opening new properties or outlets preferred
Work Environment & Scheduling
  • Indoor casino, restaurant, and bar environments
  • Exposure to noise, crowds, lighting changes, and guest activity
  • Some areas may permit smoking where allowed by law
  • Schedule may include nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
