Pharmacy Technician- Full Time - North Star Pharmacy
VytlOne National Pharmacy Services is looking for a compassionate, customer service oriented Pharmacy Technician to work full time in our VytlOne managed pharmacy at North Star Pharmacy in Londonderry, VT., a community healthcare center based retail pharmacy. In this integrated model, the VytlOne pharmacy team will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients. VytlOne National Pharmacy Services, headquartered in Amarillo, TX, manages the pharmacy, including personnel.

The estimated pay for this position is $22-27/hr depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in providing effective, appropriate, and safe pharmacy services.
  • Greet customers and take prescription orders
  • Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
  • Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
  • Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
  • Answer the phone
  • Input customer information into the computer system

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain your certification within 6 months (Maxor will assist)
  • Active pharmacy technician license in the State of VT
  • A minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience
  • Proven track record of exemplary customer service
  • Computer experience mandatory
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
  • Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
