Join our incredible culture and friendly, healthy community! Hawthorn Farm Athletic Club is looking for a reliable, hands-on Evening Operations & Maintenance Technician to help keep our club running smoothly during evenings and weekends.


You’ll help ensure the work completed earlier in the day continues successfully into the evening while also taking ownership of maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and member experience throughout the club.

Compensation:

$18 - $20 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Help oversee evening and weekend club operations to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
  • Support daily operational continuity by following through on priorities established earlier in the day
  • Perform routine facility checks, minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep throughout the club
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of locker rooms, fitness areas, pool deck, and common spaces
  • Respond to operational needs, safety concerns, and member questions with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset
  • Provide visible leadership and support to frontline staff and members
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and event support as needed
  • Communicate maintenance concerns, facility needs, and operational updates clearly with leadership and team members
  • Be an integrated “Whatever is needed” member of HFAC’s team culture

Qualifications:
  • Reliable, responsible, and comfortable working independently
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable performing hands-on maintenance and facility support tasks
  • Ability to lead with professionalism and enforce club policies when needed
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry equipment or supplies up to 50 lbs
  • CPR/First Aid Certified or willing to obtain certification within 60 days of hire
  • Experience in facilities, operations, customer service, maintenance, or athletics/fitness environments is a plus
