[Responsibilities]
- Deliver rapid on-site support for Dell servers and data center equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring high availability
- Perform hardware maintenance: server builds, component swaps, replacements, and firmware upgrades to maintain system health
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, firmware, and operating systems; escalate complex incidents as needed
- Execute both reactive and preventive maintenance following best practices and established procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure transparent communication during service events
- Accurately document all work performed and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide extended coverage as required
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 3-5+ years experience in technical support, field service, or data center environments
- Proficient with server hardware components: CPUs, memory, power supplies, GPUs, etc.
- Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work independently on-site and communicate professionally with customers
- Willingness to learn and support emerging technologies, including AI infrastructure
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to customer sites
- Associate or bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
