Required Qualifications
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
Candidates must hold an earned research doctorate (Ph.D. or equivalent in nursing or another health-related field [i.e., aging/gerontology, community health, public health, psychology, sociology or other related field]).
For early-career candidates, evidence of an emerging program of research and scholarship through peer-reviewed, high-quality publications, and potential for securing extramurally funded research.
For senior candidates, an established program of research as evidenced by extramurally funded research and a sustained record of peer-reviewed, high-quality publications and dissemination activities.
Demonstrated competence in teaching.
Preference for applicants with experience in geriatrics/gerontology, community/public health, health policy, or technology integration in healthcare.
Required Licenses & Certifications:
Candidates with a nursing degree must be eligible for a registered nurse license in the state of New Hampshire.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Program of research aligned with the National Institutes of Nursing Research's strategic goals or other National Institutes of Health program.
Experience in working with college-age and non-traditional students in on-campus, hybrid, and/or online format.
Skill in working with culturally diverse constituencies in the academic environment.
Ability to cultivate and sustain external relations with community leaders, institutions, and stakeholders.
Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive excellence and advancing ethnic, gender, and cultural diversity.
Demonstrated ability to work with faculty, staff, and students as well as community groups of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientation, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
