Familiarity with surveillance systems, access control software, and incident reporting tools is important for effective monitoring and documentation. Throughout your shift, you may check in with supervisors via phone or radio, and log your activities using reporting software or written logs. Effective teamwork is essential, as you may need to respond to incidents alongside other officers or provide coverage at short notice, ensuring consistent security coverage across all locations.
