Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Maintain a clean fleet of trucks and trailers by conducting regular washing and detailing.
REPORTS TO: Service Shop Supervisor
SUPERVISES: N/A
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Utilize water, cleaning agents, pressure washers, scrubbers, etc. to maintain a clean fleet.
  • Washing the outside of trucks.
  • Detailing the inside of trucks.
  • Filling out sheets to report missing required documents for the safety department.
  • Reporting excessive damage/filth to management.
  • Help with oil and tire changes
  • Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position.
  • Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma preferred but not required.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Pressure washing experience is a plus.

COMPETENCIES:
  • Self-starter that takes initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
  • Visual Acuity: Ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and

thoroughness of the work assigned.
