Rite Rug has been one of the top privately owned flooring companies for over 90 years! We are looking for a organized and detail oriented Office Manager to join our team!
Position Summary:
Responsible for the daily operations of the office environment along with daily function of order entry.
Essential Functions:
  • Supervises the activities of the office personnel.
  • Evaluating and managing staff performance, recruiting and selecting office staff.
  • Coordinating office staff activities and allocating resources to ensure maximal efficiency and to enable task execution.
  • Providing training, organizing on-going training for office staff.
  • Designing and implementing office procedures and policies.
  • Executing policy and procedural changes to develop and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment, coaching, disciplining staff and managing internal staff relations.
  • Responds to complaints or questions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Process labor pay and invoicing for location.
  • Monitoring budget and invoicing for location.
  • Process reports each month to ensure orders are being invoiced, mill claims are being processed, and budget is made.
  • Entry of new selections and ordering material for new installations.
  • Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Process billing and ensure billing accuracy. Maintain files.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Have earned a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Have at least one to three years of experience in an office environment. Experience in the Flooring Industry is preferred.
  • Display thorough knowledge of office, practices and procedures.
  • Possess and have demonstrated proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required.
  • Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit proven ability to effectively lead and manage employees.
  • Be able to work independently and problem solve.
