Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bookkeeping knowledge required - prior bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Strong data entry and computer skills required
  • Strong customer service skills required

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Responsible To: Principal
Job Goal: To ensure accurate and timely financial reporting related to all school accounts, effective maintenance of records and reports and general office duties necessary for the efficient operation of the school office.
Performance Responsibilities:
  • Receipts and deposits all school monies
  • Maintains financial records for all activity accounts
  • Keeps an inventory of all supplies
  • Issues purchase orders for all budgeted and fee accounts
  • Assists with processing leave requests
  • Manages student insurance
  • Completes financial reports as necessary
  • Reconciles invoices, bank statements, and report
  • Performs general office duties (i.e., answering the telephone, greeting visitors, distributing mail, coping, and maintaining office machines)
  • Provides backup for the secretary and attendance secretary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
