The Services Revenue Strategy Analyst role is responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies and cost models for services across all business groups, including network infrastructure, mobile infrastructure and other support services.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost model and pricing catalog for telecommunications professional services and maintenance, ensuring alignment with cost structures and margin objectives.
  • Review and interpret scopes of work (SOW) to assess service requirements, level of effort, and complexity; ask targeted, clarifying questions to Sales, Engineering, and customers to ensure accurate pricing and eliminate scope ambiguity.
  • Translate technical service requirements (e.g., network design, installation, integration, optimization, training) into structured cost inputs and pricing outputs, differentiating between standard and customized engagements.
  • Incorporate workforce capacity into pricing models by evaluating current resource availability, utilization, and skill sets (e.g., field engineers, private wireless engineers); identify capacity gaps and provide recommendations for hiring or outsourcing based on demand forecasts.
  • Support resource planning and triage between NFS and Nokia on the appropriate personnel to service scope and complexity, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Integrate professional services into customer quotes as direct charges (COGS), ensuring financial accuracy and avoiding increases to operating expenses.
  • Track maintenance agreements, including service levels and coverage details, to support accurate renewal pricing; proactively identify upcoming renewals and enable advanced customer notification.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to validate assumptions, support deal reviews, and drive consistent, scalable pricing practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering or related field
  • 5–10+ years of experience in pricing, financial modeling, or services operations within telecommunications or a related industry
  • Strong experience building cost models and pricing frameworks for technical services
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and challenge scopes of work (SOWs)
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and/or financial modeling tools
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and Operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with telecom infrastructure (e.g., fiber, wireless, networking, or managed services)
  • Familiarity with capacity planning and workforce modeling for technical service teams
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-site or enterprise-level deployments
  • MBA or advanced degree
