Job description

Role : Oracle HCM Payroll Configurator & Integration Lead

Location: Pittsburgh, PA – Onsite – Day 1 

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of payroll technology experience, including hands-on Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll configuration and integrations
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) from the American Payroll Association (APA).
  • Strong expertise in payroll configuration (elements/balances/costing/flows), Fast Formulas, and payroll integrations (Extracts/HDL/APIs/OIC)
  • Proven delivery of large-scale payroll implementations or transformations (multi-entity and/or multi-jurisdiction)
  • Deep knowledge of payroll compliance (tax withholding, garnishments, taxable wages, year-end processing)
  • Strong controls mindset (audit readiness, RBAC/security, data privacy)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across payroll configuration and integrations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Union payroll experience (premiums, shift differentials, collective bargaining)
  • Integrations with timekeeping (UKG/Kronos or similar) and benefits/tax vendors
  • Payroll costing and GL/ERP integrations
  • CI/CD or automated testing for HCM artifacts (a plus)
  • Parallel payroll testing and cutover planning
  • Data governance and cross-system mapping experience
