About the Position
A locally governed nonprofit health system in San Angelo, Texas is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Nephrologist to join a growing nephrology practice.
This opportunity offers a balanced practice combining inpatient and outpatient nephrology care within a collaborative physician team. The position supports patients with acute and chronic kidney disease while working within a supportive healthcare system that emphasizes clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and strong physician collaboration.
Physicians enjoy a traditional Monday–Friday schedule with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
Position Highlights
  • Provide inpatient nephrology consultations and follow-up care for hospitalized patients
  • Manage outpatient nephrology consultations and longitudinal patient care
  • Evaluate and treat acute, chronic, and end-stage kidney disease
  • Develop treatment plans including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy
  • Manage fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base disorders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
