Job description

Service Manager 

Motorcycle Dealership


The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parts and service departments. The manager leads a team of technicians and parts specialists, coordinates service schedules, and maintains high standards of safety and quality in all repair and maintenance operations.


Key duties include, but not limited to, ordering and stocking motorcycle parts, managing vendor relationships, handling warranty claims, and opening and monitoring cases with the OEMs. The Manager also monitors department budgets, prepares reports, and implements strategies to increase labor and parts sales and profitability. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required to avoid and proactively resolve customer issues, provide technical support, and train staff on best practices.


Successful candidates will typically have prior experience in motorcycle service or automotive management, strong organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of motorcycle mechanics and parts. Familiarity with dealership software systems, especially Lightspeed, and a passion for motorcycles are highly valued.  Integrity and customer satisfaction are top priorities. Salary and bonus commensurate with experience and performance.
