A monopoly is a market structure where a single company or entity exclusively controls the supply of a particular product or service, with little to no competition. This allows the monopolist to set prices and make key decisions without pressure from competitors. Monopolies can arise due to government regulation, ownership of key resources, or technological innovation. While they can lead to efficiency in some cases, monopolies often result in higher prices and less choice for consumers. • Practice: Bryden General & Implant Dentistry

  • Location: Lewiston, ID (Serving the beautiful Lewis-Clark Valley)

  • Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000+ Average Based on % of Collections (Fee-for-Service / No PPO Discounting)

  • Schedule: Part-Time / Highly Negotiable (Historically optimized as 3 consecutive days/month: Wed, Thu, Fri)

The Opportunity: A True Turnkey Monopoly

Are you tired of fighting for market share in overcrowded metro areas and watching your production get heavily discounted by corporate PPO schedules? Welcome to Bryden General & Implant Dentistry, where we do things differently.

We are seeking a traveling or regional Associate Periodontist to step into a thriving, fully established specialty pipeline. Our beloved, long-term Periodontist is retiring after a stellar 25-year career in this community (spending the last 4 years built directly into our practice). There is no other Periodontist within a 100-mile radius. You will immediately inherit a massive, loyal patient base and an extensive network of local dental practices waiting to refer patients directly to you.

Why This Position is a Specialty Dream:
  • Uncapped FFS Earning Potential: We are a pure Fee-For-Service (FFS) boutique office with absolutely no PPO affiliations. You get paid % of net collections on full office fees.

  • Flawless Financial Operations: Our administrative team boasts an elite collections rating of 98% – 100%, ensuring that your production transforms into your income seamlessly without corporate delays.

  • Complete Clinical Autonomy & Space: You will step into a modern, 6-operatory facility. On your designated specialty days, you will be the only doctor in the office, giving you total control of the clinical space, workflows, and patient experience.

  • Dedicated Support Team: Run highly efficient surgical blocks with the full support of our seasoned staff, including 2 Dental Assistants, 2 Hygienists, and a high-converting front-office team to manage your scheduling and tracking.

The Role & Clinical Scope

As our incoming Periodontist, you will have immediate access to a robust backlog of advanced surgical cases. You are the clinical authority on all complex periodontal and implant needs for the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the full scope of periodontal procedures, including pocket reduction, bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, and advanced frenectomies.

  • Direct and execute comprehensive dental implant placements, including single-tooth, multi-unit, and full-arch reconstructive staging.

  • Partner with our internal hygiene team to manage and treat advanced periodontal disease cases.

  • Maintain and cultivate the existing referral network of external local dental offices to keep the specialty schedule optimized.

Qualifications
  • D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school.

  • Certificate in Periodontics from an accredited post-doctoral residency program.

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Periodontics.

  • Active, unrestricted Idaho Dental License (or willingness to obtain).

  • A patient-centric philosophy that matches our high-trust, relationship-driven office culture.
