Schedule: Must be available for some evenings, weekends, and holidays
Seasonal Role: Mid-May through end of October
Status: Union, Hourly, Non-Exempt


Position Overview

Spirit Mountain is hiring Adventure Park Outdoor Operations Attendants for Summer 2026. This union position plays a key role in supporting operations across both the Adventure Park and Grand Avenue mountain biking area. You'll rotate between locations to help run the mountain bike lift, assist guests, and support daily park operations mainly outdoors.


This is a hands-on, team-oriented role perfect for someone who's dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable doing a mix of physical tasks and guest interaction.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mountain bike lifts and Adventure Park equipment safely and efficiently
  • Set up and prepare carts, gear, and activity areas for public use
  • Assist with daily Adventure Park operations, including safety checks and crowd flow
  • Provide clear instruction on safety rules and ride etiquette to large groups
  • Handle light maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of work areas
  • Collect/check tickets and help with any guest questions or sales transactions
  • Support other departments (tickets, cafe, etc.) when needed
  • Deliver friendly, helpful service to all guests and team members

Requirements

General Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 to be considered; however, being over 18 is desired in order to operate equipment
  • Strong communication and guest service skills
  • Must be comfortable repeating safety instructions to large groups
  • Able to troubleshoot problems and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
  • Willing to jump in where needed - flexible and team-focused
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and uphold Spirit Mountain's core values
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential
