GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft Cloud Services Expert to lead and support the Legislature's Microsoft cloud environment. This role is critical to ensuring the secure, scalable, and efficient deployment and management of Microsoft cloud technologies across our organization.

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and related services.
  • Collaborate with LSO leadership & IT members to develop cloud strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and security.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on cloud best practices.
  • Lead migration projects from on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state cybersecurity standards.
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and operational procedures.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint and related cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, identity management, and security.
  • Experience with Power Platform, Intune, Defender, and other Microsoft enterprise tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and experience using Copilot agents.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified) preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment.

  • In-person position.
  • Overtime is required during the legislative session and certain other periods as necessary to meet the demands of the Legislature.
  • All employment with the Wyoming Legislature is at-will.
