Medical Receptionist
Mercer County, NJ
$18-$20 per hour (DOE)
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join a healthcare facility in Mercer County, NJ. This role plays a key part in supporting efficient patient care by managing front-desk operations and appointment scheduling with accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Answer incoming calls in the scheduling queue in a timely manner
  • Schedule patient appointments accurately based on exam requirements
  • Verify insurance contract requirements and communicate requirements to patients
  • Confirm and update patient demographic information
  • Clearly explain exam preparation instructions and ensure patient understanding
  • Support departmental goals for wait times, work times, and call abandonment rates
  • Provide backup clerical support, including clearing RightFax, batching scripts into the system, verifying outgoing faxes, and contacting offices for clarification when needed
  • Communicate departmental issues or concerns with the Lead
  • Attend staff meetings and follow all company policies and procedures
Schedule:
  • Monday - Thursday: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
  • Friday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • One Saturday per month
