Position Overview VarcoMac is seeking a highly organized and detail driven Operations Coordinator to support our Service operations within a fast paced Data Center environment. This role is ideal for a candidate experienced in MOP/MCM execution, construction or service workflows, safety compliance, and cross functional field coordination.The ideal candidate will excel at maintaining strict documentation standards, supporting Data Center operations teams, coordinating vendor workflows, and ensuring seamless communication across all stakeholders. This position is located in Chantilly, VA and is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities + MOP & MCM Management + Manage complete MOP/MCM workflows including pre work verification, site walkdowns, tool and PPE checks, LOTO preparation, and readiness sign off. + Track MCM status, operational constraints, and system conditions prior to scheduled work. + Coordinate pre task meetings with vendors, project managers, and Data Center operations teams to confirm scope accuracy and risk mitigation. + Documentation & Compliance + Draft, review, and maintain detailed Method of Procedures (MOPs) and Maintenance Change Management (MCM) documents in accordance with Data Center standards. + Maintain a <5% rework rate through strong document control, revision management, and quality assurance. + Track vendor certifications, safety compliance requirements, and work authorization documentation. + Tools & Workflow Execution + Utilize Data Center workflow platforms such as Procore, Coupa, Avetta, or similar systems for workflow coordination, procurement tracking, change management, and contractor compliance. + Maintain accurate digital alignment for milestones, work packages, and field verification steps. + Rework & Infill Management + Log rework incidents, develop corrective action plans, and monitor resolutions to reduce recurring issues. + Perform quality audits and coordinate corrective work with general contractors, trades, and project management teams. + Coordination & Communication + Serve as the primary liaison between Data Center operations, construction teams, project management, inspectors, and vendors. + Streamline communication to ensure full clarity on scope, schedule, and potential operational impacts. + Safety & Quality Oversight + Lead third party verification reviews, safety briefings, and hazard mitigation planning. + Ensure full PPE compliance and adherence to Life Safety protocols across all work fronts. + Reporting & Metrics + Produce weekly and monthly reports covering MOP/MCM volumes, rework trends, safety statistics, vendor performance, and schedule alignment. + Deliver daily updates to project leadership and Data Center Operations teams. + Continuous Improvement + Identify workflow bottlenecks and develop improved processes for document routing, MCM review cycles, and field coordination. + Implement best practices to enhance schedule predictability, documentation accuracy, and cross team execution.
