Summary
This position will be responsible for water/wastewater projects across Arkansas. As a member of the team, you will be involved in planning, designing, and assisting with the management of a wide variety of projects. This position will serve as a key part of our water/wastewater team and will have the opportunity to work on challenging turnkey projects with an experienced design team while also gaining valuable knowledge from professional engineers with many years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Cost estimating and preliminary design
  • Assisting with funding applications and environmental studies
  • Perform detailed reviews, studies, analyses, etc., and prepares detailed report on results and findings
  • Developing construction plans and specifications
  • Performing detailed design calculations
  • Consulting with clients to obtain and relay information relating to projects
  • Assisting in the management of projects through construction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related engineering field
  • EIT
  • Knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes
  • Initiative and ability to exercise independent judgment

Travel

  • Most travel is limited to short or day trips to visit jobsites, meet clients, etc. Overnight trips are not generally required.
