About Us:
At Navier, we are building America's next-generation maritime company. Our mission is to make waterways as accessible as our highways and to build the most compelling, zero-emission marine vessels that enable a new era of clean waterborne transportation. We have recently launched N30, America's first and the world's longest range electric hydrofoiling boat. N30 is 10x more efficient than traditional gas boats, revolutionizing the way we move goods and people on the water and unlocking a new form of scalable water transportation for 46% of the world's population living in congested coastal cities.
We are an adventurous, close-knit team backed by some of the most prominent tech leaders and well known venture firms in Silicon Valley. Our leaders are MIT, Berkeley and CMU graduates with extensive expertise in aerospace, maritime, autonomous systems and robotics. Join us as we embark on the next phase of exciting growth!
Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be a current MBA student (or pursuing a similar advanced degree) with strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
This role is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a fast-growing Series A startup while contributing meaningfully to the future of sustainable maritime mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and competitive analyses to identify emerging opportunities in maritime, mobility, and adjacent industries.
  • Support financial modeling and analyses to evaluate new business opportunities and potential partnerships.
  • Assist with product research, including technical and market positioning.
  • Prepare strategic presentations and decks for internal stakeholders, investors, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with leadership on high-impact projects across strategy, business development, and operations.

Qualifications:
  • Current MBA student or pursuing another relevant advanced degree (e.g., Finance, Business, Engineering).
  • 3+ years of full-time experience in consulting, venture capital, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in the mobility, transportation, or maritime sectors is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience preparing professional-grade decks.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Additional Details:
  • Average approximately 6 hours/week commitment.
  • Compensation is global (fixed), not hourly.

Remote-friendly role, with occasional opportunities to engage on-site depending on project needs.
What we offer:
All our positions offer a compensation package that includes base salary and benefits. Benefits include PTO, Sick Time, 401k and 100% paid Medical, Dental and Vision coverage for the employee.
Navier's pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources.
