About the Job:
Randall's Restaurant is looking for an experienced Fine Dining Server to join our front-of-house team. 

Responsibilities:
  • Complete knowledge of our food and bar menus, with the expertise to make suggestions.
  • Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive and friendly demeanor.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
  • Enter orders accurately into POS terminals for transmittal to kitchen staff.
  • Ensure tables are enjoying their visit and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Collect payments from tables.
  • Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
  • Help food preparation staff when necessary.

Qualifications: 
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of fine dining service, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and all staff. 
  • Previous food service work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is required for consideration. 
  • The position is part-time and includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:
  • Fine dining experience, providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of all food and bar menus 
  • Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
  • Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to stand for 5+ hours and carry heavy trays of food.

Work Setting:
  • The position is part-time. Must report by 3:00 pm.
  • Open regularly from Tuesday-Saturday (4:00 pm).
  • Private events may be booked outside our normal business hours. 
  • Weekend and holiday availability is both expected and required for consideration.
