Job description

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist for our client in the Manufacturing domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Salary: $35.00-$40.00/Hourly

Role: CNC Machinist

Primary Skills: Engineering

Role Description: The CNC Machinist must have 5+ years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible to assist in set-up of simple jobs and operation of CNC equipment, tooling maintenance, and ensuring that all required processes are completed to produce parts that meet quality and ISO standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Fabricates and modifies parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

- Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.

- Measures, examines, and tests completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.

- Assist in set-ups of simple (uncomplicated and straightforward) jobs and operate conventional, special-purpose, and computerized numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts and fits and assemble machined parts into complete units, applying knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials, and layout techniques.

- Able to run multiple machines at one time.

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
