Job description

Job Purpose: Balance Vault on a daily basis, ensure that all audit trails regarding all transactions are maintained according to department policies and procedures. Process transactions from other departments in an accurate and timely manner. Responsible for a high level of customer service even though the customer is usually a fellow Team Member.
Essential Functions:
  1. Count In/Out of Vault, balance vault
  2. Responsible for completing accurate monetary exchanges and document all transactions, in an accurate and legible manner, as required, in order to maintain an accurate audit trail of internal and other department transactions.
  3. Prepare banks for distribution to other departments according to their requirements.
  4. Verification and preparation of Bank deposits
  5. Verify sales and banks being returned against the transaction slips.
  6. Process all currency/coin received from the daily transactions.
  7. Prepare currency for the NRT Redemption Kiosk (NRT) canisters, fill NRT's with currency and coin, perform minor maintenance (paper jams, money jams, etc.)
  8. Replenish and balance ticket redemption machines and any other duties related to the ticket redemption machines.
  9. Follow all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with gaming procedures and regulations.
  10. Professional appearance (well-groomed).
  11. Performs other duties and projects as required by management.

Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing and visual acuity.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs).

Working Conditions
  • Normal casino environment.
  • Flexible hours (week- ends, nights, holidays)

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the prescribed methods of the application and completion of federal cash reporting requirement forms including Title 31 compliance regulations.
  • Must have excellent math skills and cash handling skills.
  • Must have very good communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work any shifts, weekends, and holidays.
