Job description

The General Laborer will perform construction work/ support specified as needed. They will perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. He or she will assist any combination of duties on construction projects, transferring from one task to another as directed, and may perform any of the following duties: measuring distances, Earth digging, laying or pulling cable, etc. This employee will perform a variety of tasks involving dexterous use of hands and tools.

-Assist crew leader in construction work

-Complete duties as assigned

-Operate machinery, vehicles, and other necessary tools

-Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials

-Opens trenches, restores trenches using hand tools and/ or power equipment.
