Starting Salary Range: $43,000-$47,000 (Hourly Role) + Benefits
Job Summary

The warehouse material/handler operator I is responsible for safely moving, storing, and tracking materials within a warehouse or production environment. This role ensures accurate inventory management, timely material delivery, and efficient workflow to support operational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials to designated locations within the facility.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing slips.
  • Prepare materials for distribution, shipping, or storage.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems as required.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
  • Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of materials.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or equipment issues to supervisors.
  • Support production lines by supplying materials in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  •  2+ years of previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Certification to operate forklift or willingness to obtain one.
  • Basic computer and inventory system skills (e.g., ERP/WMS).
  • Ability to read and understand shipping documents and instructions.
