Job description

Who We Are
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work feels faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, humanity, and building things that last - not just shipping the next feature, but setting a standard for how modern teams (with humans and agents working together) think and execute.
About the Role
As Notion expands its partner ecosystem, we're seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer to bridge our internal SE organization with our growing network of partner SEs in the US and LATAM. In this unique role, you'll be the technical leader who enables, develops, and orchestrates partner SE capabilities while maintaining hands-on involvement in complex customer engagements.
You'll own the technical enablement of partner SE teams, working alongside our existing enablement programs to build partner-specific curriculum. You'll establish a "Black Belt Program" to identify and certify top partner SEs, and develop the systems to route complex engagements to the right resources. By end of 2026, you'll help scale and manage a network of ~20 partner SEs across our ecosystem.
This role combines individual contributor excellence with semi-managerial responsibilities-you'll need to deeply understand the capabilities of each partner SE, develop their skills, and match them to the right opportunities.
What You'll Achieve
Partner Enablement & Solutions
  • Design and deliver technical enablement programs, including a "Black Belt Program" to certify and recognize top-performing partner SEs
  • Develop training on Notion's platform, sales methodology, and assessment frameworks to evaluate partner readiness
  • Lead development of vertical/industry templates and horizontal solution packages in collaboration with partners
  • Establish standards and maintain a library of partner-ready solution assets
  • Build and maintain routing systems to match partner SEs to appropriate opportunities across AMER and LATAM

Complex Customer Engagements
  • Participate directly in complex, high-stakes customer opportunities alongside partner SEs
  • Provide technical oversight and quality assurance on partner-led engagements
  • Serve as escalation point for technical challenges that exceed partner capabilities
  • Model best practices in discovery, demos, and POCs for partner teams to emulate

Skills You'll Need to Bring
  • 5+ years in a customerโ€‘facing technical role such as Solutions/Sales Engineer, Solution Consultant, or similar, ideally at a highโ€‘growth SaaS company
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent development and frameworks, evaluation frameworks, and MCP.
  • Experience building and delivering technical enablement programs or training curriculum
  • Track record of mentoring, coaching, or developing technical talent
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to teach complex concepts and deliver compelling presentations
  • Strong project leadership with experience building processes and systems from scratch
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable operating across organizational boundaries
  • You don't need to be an AI expert, but you're curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.

Nice To Haves
  • Experience working with partner ecosystems, channel sales, or system integrators
  • Handsโ€‘on experience with Notion as a power user or workspace admin
  • Background in creating industry-specific or persona-based solution templates
  • Experience building certification or skills assessment programs
  • Experience with partner enablement platforms, LMS systems, or training delivery tools

Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in New York City, the estimated range for total on target earnings (including base salary and on target incentive pay) for this role is $220,000 - $260,000 per year.
By clicking "Submit Application", I understand and agree that Notion and its affiliates and subsidiaries will collect and process my information in accordance with Notion's Global Recruiting Privacy Policy and NYLL 144. #LI-Onsite
A Note on AI
You don't need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement - when that's the case, we'll make it explicit in the qualifications. People who thrive here don't treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, move faster, and build more creatively.
Equal Opportunity & Accommodations
We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our teams to reflect the wide diversity of our customers. If you're excited about a role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every bullet point listed, we still encourage you to apply.
