Job description

OBJECTIVE
  • Assure that the PCLI philosophy of quality and caring treatment of patients and staff is upheld in all daily surgical activities.
  • In a positive and cheerful manner, oversee and evaluate all pre and post-op activities.
  • Work with the team to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the smooth flow of patients throughout admission, anesthesia and discharge phases of each patient's surgical experience.
  • Maintain effective communication within TLC, Surgery, Clinic and other departments of PCLI.

REPORTS TO
Site Manager and Corporate Surgery Manager
STATUS
Part-time, On Call (up to 23 hours/week)
SCHEDULE
Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Depending on work location, employee may be required to report to work between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on scheduled days.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Attention to detail

  • Good computer skills - comfortable with Microsoft Office & EHR/EMR products
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

LICENSURE REQUIRED
  • RN state licensure for the state(s) in which he/she practices

ADDITIONAL TRAINING
  • CPR certification (required)
  • ACLS certification (optional)
