Job Overview

Lab Assistant, Immunology -  No experience needed

As a Laboratory Assistant for our Immunology team at the Sherbrooke location, you will provide general technical support within the departments. 

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Wash, dry and store all the equipment used by the technicians and analysts;
  • Perform maintenance/cleaning of basic laboratory equipment;
  • Order all the disposable material and chemicals through the internal store and/or external supplier using the purchasing software;
  • Keep the working area and storage room clean and organized.

If you have the following qualifications, we'll train you for the rest: 

  • High School Diploma;
  • Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
  • Open-minded and willing to learn in a laboratory environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ability to work independently.

Role Specific Information:

  • Location: 1580 rue Ida-Metivier, Sherbrooke (Fleurimont), QC, J1E 0B5 
  • Transportation: Easily accessible using Sherbrooke's public transit system. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station 
  • Salary: Starting at 17.50$hr
  • Annual bonus based on performance.
  • Schedule: Full time, permanent position (37.5 hours/week), depending on the needs, you may have to do overtime. Mostly to work from Monday to Friday.
