Journeyman or Master

Qualified Maintenance & Construction (QMC), LLC is seeking a skilled, professional Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber to join our self-performing facilities maintenance team. This role is dedicated to commercial service, diagnostics, and repair across our Dallas-Fort Worth service areas. We are looking for a technician who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

General Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of specific experience in commercial service, maintenance, and repair.
• Communication: Strong English reading and writing skills required to accurately complete work orders, process client documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting commercial plumbing systems, including commercial water heaters, drain lines, hydro-jetting, fixtures, and backflow prevention.
• Logistics: Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

License-Specific Tier Requirements:

• Journeyman Tier: Must hold an active Texas Journeyman Plumber license in good standing.
• Master Tier: Must hold an active Texas Master Plumber license in good standing. (Opportunities available for Master Plumbers willing to pull permits).

Key Responsibilities

• Service Excellence: Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks for diverse commercial clients (retail, restaurant, facilities) with a focus on "first-time fix" results.
• Tech Integration: Utilize company-provided mobile app (ServiceTitan) for digital job documentation, portal updates, photo/video uploads, and accurate time tracking.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with our dispatch, project management, and billing teams to ensure accurate job costing, material tracking, and client reporting.
• Safety & Compliance: Must adhere to IPC/UPC standards, local Dallas-area codes, and company safety protocols on all job sites.
