ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Administer and support the Konami SYNKROS environment and connected slot-floor systems (player tracking, TITO, bonusing/promotions, kiosks, jackpot/progressive interfaces), ensuring accurate event capture and system uptime.
• Maintain and audit EGM and floor master data within SYNKROS (device profiles, denominations, configurations, accounting attributes, game/asset information, and location mapping) to support accurate slot accounting and performance reporting.
• Execute floor change workflows (installs, conversions, swaps, removals, relocations) including required data entry, configuration updates, pre/post verification steps, and documentation packets per internal controls.
• Monitor daily system exceptions and operational reports; identify, research, document, and resolve discrepancies (e.g., meter/transaction variances, interface failures, player tracking issues, points/free play issues, jackpot/progressive record variances) and escalate as needed.
• Support slot performance analysis by producing and validating recurring data and reporting (coin-in, win, hold, occupancy, downtime, exceptions trending) and providing insights to Slots leadership.
• Oversee the lifecycle of SYNKROS-related software and configuration changes within scope: version tracking, test plans/UAT support, scheduled deployments, and post-change validation.
• Coordinate vendor activities (Konami and third-party partners) for troubleshooting, upgrades, implementations, and integrations; manage tickets/escalations, track status, and ensure issues are resolved within agreed timelines.
• Maintain system documentation (procedures, checklists, floor project logs, discrepancy research notes, and configuration records) to support audit readiness and operational continuity.
• Serve as a liaison between Slot Operations and IT for system health monitoring, outage response, and infrastructure coordination (servers, network connectivity, backups) based on the property's support model.
• Provide training and support to end users on approved SYNKROS workflows and reporting tools; communicate system changes, outages, and key impacts to stakeholders.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Nevada Gaming Control Board regulations, approved internal controls, and property policies/procedures applicable to casino management systems and slot operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for floor changes, configuration updates, exception resolution, access changes, and software/configuration deployments.
• Support internal and external audits by producing reports, reconciliation support, and evidence of required checks/approvals; partner with Compliance and Audit/Finance to resolve findings in a timely manner.
• Safeguard sensitive patron and operational data by following access control standards and confidentiality requirements.
• Any other duties as assigned, within the scope of this job description.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Working knowledge of key slot-floor concepts: EGMs, meters, TITO, player tracking, progressives/jackpots, kiosks, and slot accounting/reporting.
• Demonstrated experience with data entry and master data maintenance; strong attention to detail and ability to follow controlled procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard reporting tools; ability to produce, validate, and explain performance and exception reporting.
• Strong troubleshooting and discrepancy research skills; ability to document root cause, actions taken, and outcomes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors; able to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams.
• Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, analyzing, precision working, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent thinking and judgement.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends/holidays and/or on-call) as business needs require.
• Must be 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years' experience in casino slot operations, casino systems, slot performance, gaming technology, or a related role supporting a casino management system; or any related experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
• Must be able to maintain appropriate licensing with the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently sitting, standing, and walking; and occasionally reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, and kneeling during the duration of their shift.
• Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry over 100lbs or less frequently.
• The team member will frequently have repetitive use of both feet and hands and require frequent light and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be frequently required.
• Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision; vision that allows the ability to read colored spreadsheets and computer use.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Work performed indoors, alone, and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment, electrical devices, and other mechanical devices.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, and occasionally loud.
• Team Member may be exposed to dirt/dust, odor, and/or secondhand smoke.
