They are responsible for inserting IV lines, monitoring infusions, managing intravenous medications, and ensuring patient safety during the infusion process. These nurses often work in hospitals, clinics, infusion centers, or home health settings, providing care for patients requiring treatments such as antibiotics, hydration, chemotherapy, or nutritional support. Their expertise helps prevent complications and ensures effective delivery of prescribed therapies.
